1. Who operates the platform

RentSafely is operated for Pakistan by TechAbout Private Limited and for the United States by TechAbout LLC. Your selected rental market determines the platform operator, which is recorded in the product-specific agreement. Company contact addresses are listed below; they are not product pickup locations.

2. A peer-to-peer service

RentSafely helps owners and renters discover listings, communicate rental requirements, and keep agreement and dispute records. The owner supplies the product; the renter is responsible for its agreed use and return. RentSafely is not the product's owner, manufacturer, insurer, or a guarantee of either party's performance.

Nothing in these terms excludes a platform obligation or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. A platform disclaimer does not remove responsibility for the platform's own conduct. Local mandatory law and approved payment-provider terms continue to apply.

3. Membership and eligibility

Members must be at least 18 and have reached the legal age for entering a contract in their jurisdiction. Provide accurate details, control your account, and cooperate with verification. Do not create an account for someone else, impersonate another person, or use another member's identity documents. Staff access and member accounts are separate.

4. Before a rental

Negotiate the exact item, included accessories, permitted uses, dates, pickup/return arrangements, price, deposit, cancellation terms, and any genuine insurance cover before accepting. Inspect the product and check identity before handing anything over. A listing or pending request alone is not a confirmed rental.

5. Agreements and payments

An agreement is generated from an accepted offer and must be intentionally accepted by both authenticated, currently verified parties against the same version. Changes to dates, prices, parties, or item require a new version and fresh acceptance. Your account must be in good standing; a checkbox or listing inquiry alone does not confirm a rental.

No platform payment service is currently enabled. Do not interpret an estimated rental price, an internal hold, or a payout date as evidence that money was collected or held in escrow. Payment methods become available only when the relevant provider is contracted and connected.

6. Restrictions, disputes, and remedies

An active dispute can temporarily restrict new rental transactions and block payout eligibility for the affected rental. Members retain access to case records and support. A complaint is not automatically proof of wrongdoing. A permanent ban requires a documented decision; members may appeal and provide evidence. Holds are reviewed and must not be represented as an indefinite right to keep another party's funds.
